Open burning is allowed annually from January 15th - May 1st, between the hours of 10AM and 4PM.

An Open Burning Permit from the fire department is required. You can visit the fire station during business hours or call (508-362-3241) for a permit. There is no charge for a permit.

Each day, prior to burning, you must call the fire station (508-362-3241) to confirm that burning is allowed. Weather, fire danger, and environmental conditions may cause open burning to be suspended for the day. Please call at or after 10AM.
